So these past few months have been crazy, and honestly I cannot thank God enough for both the blessings that have come and the ones that are to come.

Let me be clear, I'm not just talking about the donations (while this has been one of the many blessings), I'm talking about seeing God refine me in ways I thought I was done growing in. 

For example, in KidsLife: I've been learning different elements of leadership and how important it is to check on your flock! If you haven't read the Way of The Shepherd by Leman Pentak...you should change that.

I also got to meet my cohort some weeks ago and lemme tell you, these folks are amazing! They’re essentially my small group for this mission. I love them and I enjoyed getting to spend a week with them in the Windy City! Look at them!! 

A lot has happened in these two months but I wanted to provide a brief update on how everything is going World Race wise! Thank you to all of my partners both spiritual and financial! Because of your obedience to God and generous hearts, $4.5k was raised in the span of just a week and a half! Ain't He good?

A little heart to heart here:

One story that keeps popping up around me lately is Gideon. As one of the judges Gideon started from one of the weakest tribes, yet God still looked upon him and saw a man of valor. Even though Gideon was apprehensive as all get out and asked God to show him signs, God was soooo good to Gideon. I see myself in Gideon sometimes, full of doubt and worry and soo hesitant to take that next step sometimes. But then I'm reminded God has done so much and made himself known in my life countless times before, why should I hold back now?
