My week has consisted of driving from Mobile to Destin to Orlando. 

The drives have consist of jamming out to randomly shuffled playlists consisting of KB, Andy Mineo, Lecrae, 1K Phew, and other Christian lyricists.

All the while this voice in my head has been saying, “Aren’t you supposed to be preparing for the World Race?”

I brush off the thought. I’m trying to focus back on the present and enjoying conversations with my parents and joking and wrestling with my brothers in the hotel rooms.

Whether it’s window shopping with James, or body slamming John into the couch, or working on this 1000 pc puzzle.

Even now the voice in my head labors over and over, “Why aren’t you preparing?”

Now I know good and well spending time with family, reading books about how to stay stalwart spiritually, and talking to my Heavenly Father on the regular prepares me for the journey to come.

Now confessions and words are flying out of my mouth. I know I’m where God wants me to be. Over all things are looking on the up and up. Also 1 Corinthians 10:31 says “So if you eat, or if you drink, or if you do anything, do it for the glory of God.”

It may not be a spirit-filled 1 hour worship set or a spirit-filled oration. Sometimes it’s a spirit-filled 3-hr turn up while in traffic on 1-65 south, or currently it’s a spirit-filled chill puzzle set with the fam. 

Also…..LAUNCH IS IN 8 DAYS!!!! Prayers for me and the squad are always welcome! (especially since parents will be seeing us off)
