First off let me say I’m so sorry for the long silence. I’ve been deep in the word and I cannot wait to share all the new revelation and lessons I’ve learned on the field. This experience has been one of a lifetime, which is to be expected since I’m literally getting to live out an answered prayer and a dream of mine all at the same time. I look forward to sharing a recap of each month with you all over the next few days.

Coming off a relaxing and fun debrief in el salvador, I was ready to step more into what God had for me on this mission trip…or so I thought. This was the last month with flocka sheep (I’ve known since training camp back in October 2021). This month was the one with a lot of feelings and hardships.

This was also a month where I got to jump into graphic design and canva and photography. As a flock, We got to partner with Light and Salt Ministries and their mission is to disciple, train, and empower young Nicaraguans to break their own cycles of mental spiritual, and physical poverty.

We were able to help their teachers with classes and for a brief time assist with their social media presence. We also got to spend time with Tara and her sweet family. Alex, her husband, and Molly, her daughter, were a pleasure to work with and spend time with in the land of lakes and volcanoes.
?This month I was holding onto the truth that comes from Isaiah 40:31 this chapter refers to the comfort that is available to God’s people and the greatness of God. holding onto this chapter and this passage reminds me that God is everything we need and He alone is out sustenance more than anything that this world can offer.
